this, i swear, is the best chocolate drink i've ever tasted.
i mixed the content with cold milk (supposed to be hot water or hot milk,but i prefer cold chocolate drinks), and omggggg, damn tasty and creamy and chocolate-y. and and and, inside the drink, there are small bits of hershey's kisses! you know, the chocolate.

yeah the ones above. but wayyy smaller.

ahhhhhhh. damn good. i wanted to drink again, but no more milk. :(

YEAY! ayat-ayat cinta is coming to spore! i've been wanting to watch this movie since i read so many comments on the newspapers.it sounds so interesting. it's from a novel, but since it's an indonesian novel, and i don't understand their way of writing, it's better if i just watch the movie.

the preview was on labour day. the actual screening will be on 8th of may. the stars of the movie will be coming to spore on the 4th of may! which is tmr! at causeway point and downtown east! which i probably won't be going, so boo.

the other cool thing is that, they are using ungu's song! YEAY! tercipta untukku and andai ku tahu. perfect songs for the movie. rossa's ayat-ayat cinta is also pleasant to hear, since melly goeslow is the composer of the song. fyi, melly goeslaw is gooooood. i LOVE the acoustic version of tercipta untukku, whereby ungu and rossa combined voices for it. superb, i tell you. i haven't heard other songs from the album, so it means mass downloading for me soon!

also from the newspaper, indonesian's president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono also watched the movie. cool or what.

THE PLOT-

Ayat Ayat Cinta is a beautifully portrayed Islamic love story – a tale of a
virtuous Muslim protagonist who overcomes all obstacles of life maintaining pure
ideals.

Fedi Nuril as Fahri bin Abdillah is a poor, intelligent student who wins a

sometimes, you just have to agree that suria sucks.
you know what they did?

when i reached home from sch, i was in time to watch ungu on suria. the name of the show is 'by request'. i was praying super hard that suria will show ungu. and yes they did!

BUT

they cut A LOT of the parts away. some songs are just cut into half. tercipta untukku, berikan aku cinta, tak perlu, to name a few.
and they freaking hell didnt end the show properly.
there's no closing titles or whatsoever.
no members of ungu saying thank you to fans.
the host did not say goodbye to the audience.
they ended the show abruptly.
I KNOW ungu were supposed to sing a couple of songs more,

just came back from geylang.
and i guess this year i went there like, a lot of times.
more than previous years. haha. no idea why.

ANW, we were waiting for the taxi at the lion city hotel taxi stand. as always, a lot of ppl lining up.
let me tell u this.
when im nice, i can be real nice.
when im nasty, i can be real nasty.

and so i decided to be nice. it was at night, so maybe the taxi drivers cannot see that well, or something.
maybe they dun realise that there IS a taxi stand there.
so i was being super nice and helped to flag the taxis. it's not as if i want to hop in the taxi when they stop.
it's logic.
when taxi drivers see ppl flagging, they stop for them.
so when i flag, and taxis stop, i asked them to drive forward, so that the ppl in front can board.

i do not expect any thank-yous or anything, because i know, everyone wants to go home. i also want to go home. if no one flags for taxis, no taxis will stop. if no taxis stop, how to go home? CORRECT??!! simple logical thinking.

i managed to flag down a couple of taxis. then suddenly, my sis asked me to stop flagging.

"stop flagging. SOME ppl just can't appreciate an act of kindness."

so i was like, 'why? wad happen?'

then she told me that the 3 teenagers behind her were bad-mouthing me.

WAHHHH. strangers bad-mouthing me. how swell.

and so i asked. 'what they say?'

they said, "why is that person flagging? dont she understand that we have to queue?'

WELL HELLO! im freaking trying to do something, so that everyone can have a taxi! is it wrong of me to HELP? HELP! besides, im always doing this, but no one complained before, so why bad-mouth me?'

and yes, i understand the word QUEUE. i didn't go to sch for nothing.

obviously those 3 did NOT do anything other than bitch around, talk non-stop and do everything else except finding for a cab.

everyone else was frantically calling for cabs, also trying to look out of any cabs. but them? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. how nice of them. seriously man, they were just talking and talking non-stop without even looking out for a cab. how stupid.

suddenly, this cab came, and the taxi driver put a sign BUKIT MERAH. they were like, wah, bukit merah? i said, YEAH BUKIT MERAH!.
then another cab came behind. so they were like, 'cmon, let's just take the cab behind.'

but the first cab stopped in front of them and asked where they were heading to.

so they went to the cab behind, and i asked the cab in front. he said okaae, and so we went in.

wassssssssssssssssssssssup. hahha. below are the pictures that i promised.

but before that, let me tell u abt my experience with the doc.

went to the national skin centre at mandalay road.
first, had to register. went up to this lady, and omggg, i swear she's the most soft-spoken person in the world. her voice was soooooo low, my sis and i cant make up wad she was saying. i just nodded and nodded. lol.

then we waited to see the specialist. we saw this guy doctor, then we thought to ourselves, 'nahhh, cannot be this guy. he so girly'. wont get him ah.' me and my big mouth.

next, we realised, he was the doctor im supposed to see. great.

he looked at my knee, pressed it, touched it, feel it. he kept talking and talking and talking and talking and talking, u get the idea. he said something abt chronic something, yadda yadda. so many foreign words which i dun understand at all.

then he called in another doctor, and they talked and talked and talked. they checked my neck, my knuckles, my elbow and they talked and talked and talked. my sis was laughing silently behind me. i appeared non-chalant in front of the doctors. haha.

after quite a long time, he decided to send me to this room and have my knee scraped a bit, to do some test. found out the results, and he said there'no fungi whatsoever, and he gave me cream and moisturizer to apply on my knee.

and OMG, the bill. one look at the doctor's face, 60 bucks. a few scrapes, 10 bucks. plus med, 10 bucks. WAHHHHHHHH, 80 bucks! but got govt grant, so only pay 40 bucks. lucky lucky.

when i first heard about ungu, seriously, i only like them for their powerful songs, their short but subtle lyrics, and how they managed to create each songs with different characteristics. but most importantly, i like them because they wrote their own songs, create their own tunes- without any help from other artists.

one thing that i was disappointed in was, singapore shd actually introduce ungu from their first album, and not the third. other indo bands do suffer the same fate. oh well. these bands need recognition, or else how to sell their albums in spore?

like english bands. frankly speaking, i've nvr heard of lots of those bands before. the pink spiders, acceptance, the hush sound, flyleaf, MxPx, the academy is..., eisley, +44 and more. none at all, but all thanks to cutesy, nina, atiqah and many more, i'm introduced to such bands. some of the bands mentioned had never been shown in mtv(or that's wad i think, haha). kudos to them.

$28 was all i paid to watch ungu in spore. super cheap right? in msia, their concert was only for RM30. (!!!!!) but from the videos posted in youtube, i have to say, the one in spore seemed to be better. but you can't expect a lot from only having to pay only $28 or RM30 right? but still, it's better than nothing. (: and besides, if they charge the ticket extremely expensive, i won't have any money to pay for my ticket and my sister's too, and i don't think i can ever see ungu in my whole entire life. okaae, the whole life seems exaggerated. haha.

watched tv just now and it shows all the malay sporeans carving a niche in london. wah, i tell you, they sounded so professional, explaining their work and stuffs. power.

and yeah, saw my aunt and her family. my aunt sure looks absolutely different. as for my uncle, i didn't recognize him at all. as usual, their daughters were gorgeous.

when i have nothing to do, i will be blog-hopping. haha. but sometimes, when i blog-hop, i have a reason behind it.

and my reason now is actually to find out abt mad. yes i know kill me. im supposed to forget abt him long long long long time ago, but i curious woman. haha. besides, i havent seen him since i went for my check-up at chinatown. saw him at the bus-stop btw. heh.

went to his classmates' blogs, slowly finding out if he's being mentioned or something. and nope, nothing at all. till ytd.

someone posted up a class photo. i was looking very closely at it, and realised dat he's not inside! and then i thought, well maybe he's absent dat day. then i went to look at the list of names below. there's always a part dat say 'not in picture: blah blah blah'. i went to look really carefully, and his name is not there at all. i checked like 5-6 times, and i cant the name.

and today, looked at the archives of another classmate of his, and i realised he smart! from normal tech he upgraded to normal acad. ((: no wonder i didnt see him in the class photo.

anw, this is a super rubbish nonsensical post, and ppl will think im crazy or something. oh well. and uhhuh im not interested in him anymore, or so you think! hahhaha.

ytd woke up real early to send ms seow off. my alarm was supposed to go off at 5.30, but obviously when i sleep, i can't hear anything. haha. later my mom kicked me. yes, kicked. haha. asked me to wake up. it was alr 5.45am.

quickly bathed, gave dat ber wake-up call. if i didn't call her, she probably wouldn't wake up, and had no chance to send ms seow off. YAY! I MANAGED TO WAKE HER UP! im the hero, i know. hahahah.

met her at tiong mrt, took mrt all the way to changi airport. before the train reached aljunied, mich called me and said she would be late. then i asked where is she. she said she at aljunied. then i'm like, eh! we same train! i was turning right and left to find her and cheryl, then i saw joacquim! haha. in the end, we are all in the same train. (:

we reached there at 7.30am, and we are supposed to be there at 7. haha. buttttt, we are the earliest. wow oh wow. ahha. then came jane, then ki yeow and chong wei. and shit, i forgot to wish him happy bday.

waited for ms seow to come, walked ard a bit.

by now, u must have realised that not many ppl actually came.

it was emotional. when we all went to the departure gate tgt with the family members and friends and some teachers, that was the first time i saw ms seow cry. well, of course, since she wont be back like until, 5 years time? dat's one hell of a looooooooong time. but nvm, it's all for a good cause. she's studying there, getting a PHD, if im not wrong. or something higher.

well, i wish her all the best. (:

life is full of choices, and damn, i hate to make particular choices.

i can't go out with frens sometimes, because my mom always have surprised plans. either she wants to go out or there are food orders for her to finish up. since both my dad and sis have to work, i will be the one accompanying my mom.

so, i really have to say sry to my frens if i cannot go out with you, or i cancel plans at the last minute.

i met my aunt this afternoon to pass her some things she asked for. she asked me how's sch blah blah. i told her it kinda suck, but yea, im still coping. like duh, only the first semester had passed, wad u expect? [and no, i didnt tell her that. hah.]

and she asked me why i chose this course. she kept on blabbering that i dun speak up, cant talk well and BLAH BLAH BLAH.

HELLO! who's taking the course now? you or me? u dunno wad im going through, so dont give me nasty comments.

gosh, i shd just tell her i hate talking. yes, i hate talking. i dun like to talk in front of my relatives. cos i really do care abt what they think abt me. unlike my sis, whatever she talks, my relatives just laugh and smile at her.

i prefer to listen. i really do. ask any of my close frens. they know. i can talk, but sometimes i stammer. so really, dun blame me if i just laugh or smile and nvr say anything. cos i can't talk fluently as you.

and one more thing. i dont like to talk abt problems that i am facing. i am the type who keeps everything inside, hide everything from everyone. sometimes i will show that im having problems, buti dun really like to talk abt it. just give me some time to cool myself down, and i will be okaae. (:

on a lighter note, i bought chocolatesssss. maltesers and violet crumble. yum yum.
but i can't find the willy wonka caramel chocolate that i've been finding for soooo long. i saw it dat time, but i got no money to buy. oh mannnn.
